Hungarian Anatomical Society (Magyar Anatómus Társaság)

The Hungarian Anatomical Society (https://www.anatomus.hu/) is an affiliated member of the International Federation of Associations of Anatomists (IFAA).
In 1967, the Society was originally founded under the name of the Society of Hungarian Anatomists, Histologists and Embryologists and it was changed to the current version in 1999. The specialty of the Society is that its members are attracted by their shared interest in teaching Anatomy, Histology, Embryology to students studying Human or Veterinary Medicine, rather, than belonging to a certain specific scientific community. Thus the body of the Society is mainly composed of the faculty members working in the five Anatomy Departments of Hungarian Medical or Veterinary Schools, located in Budapest, Pécs, Szeged and Debrecen.
